My car will not start for the first time, how do I fix this?

All Kool Karz Ride On Toys ship with the battery disconnected for safety. When assembling the car please be sure to connect the battery, refer to your specific car manual for directions. Please note some models will have a white plastic protective cap over the positive (red) terminal of the battery, this must be removed to connect the red wire to the battery on models that connect directly to the battery.

What is the life expectancy of a Kool Karz Battery?

A Kool Karz Battery has an average life expectancy of 1 to 3 years, depending on how many hours it is being used as well as how it is being used and charged. Please refer to the other topics in the Battery Maintenance & Care category to help take the best care of your product.

How should I maintain the battery of my Kool Karz product?

Charge times vary by car model, please refer to the manual for your specific car for appropriate charge times. It is generally recommended to charge the battery for 6 to 8 hours and never more than 12 hours.

How do I pair the remote control with the car?

Each model may use more specific pairing steps, most remotes list their pairing instructions on the back of the remote. Please refer to the manual for your specific car model for more details.

General pairing instructions:

- Press and hold the pairing button for your remote, lights on the remote may change

- Turn on the car and watch for the lights on your remote to change state again

- To test if pairing is complete be sure the car is in R/C mode (if applicable) and test forward and backward buttons

The car turns on but will not drive, how do I fix this?

This problem may result from several factors. First please check that the car is unable to drive using both the remote control and manual mode with the battery fully charged.

If only Manual mode does not work please check all wire connections to ensure motors and pedals are connected properly.

If only R/C mode does not work please use new batteries in the remote and check that the remote is paired using the manual for your car.

If both modes do not work this may indicate the battery does not have enough power to drive the car. For more information please contact our support team using the contact form on our website.
